Sometimes you may want to force or encourage your users to update your app – maybe you fixed some annoying bug, or you added this amazing feature that is gonna to change lives. Fortunately some time ago Google added this nice option to add in-app update feature to our apps. However this seems not to be widely use, and some of the instructions you can find online can be not exactly helpful, or misleading, or sometimes unnecessary overwhelming.
